All the lettering / decals are covered with plastic transfer tape or masking tape for easy fitting…
NB.. PLEASE LAY SIGN FLAT FOR A FEW HOURS AND RUB OVER WITH SQUEEGEE

Watch the YouTube videos on the Fitting Instructions page to get a good idea of what to do. Also see the basic photo instructions below

Clean area thoroughly and dry with paper towel. Place sign in position and use masking tape as per the videos to hold it in place like a hinge. After removal of backingpaper, squeegee / rub hard systematically from centre outwards to adhere the vinyl. Carefully peel back transfer tape once decal is placed and rubbed on..

Sometimes in cold conditions the plastic transfer tape needs a hairdryer blown over to heat it up a bit to make removal easier. Also if the letters are not sticking properly heat the area with the hair dryer when placing the sign..

NB..
For large decals - be really careful when rubbing it on - rub systematically from centre outwards as per the videos as air can be trapped easily and create bubbles – prick larger bubbles lightly with a pin and squeeze air out. Small bubbles will normally soon disappear.

Wet method..  only for large full cover / bulky signs

remove backing paper from decal, lightly mist spray the back of decal and the surface that it is to be applied with a liquid made up with water mixed with just a few drops of dishwasher liquid. Then apply decal, straighten as required, then squeegee with a soft edge i.e. felt or rubber block etc.. squeegee all the air bubbles and water out, starting from centre and working outwards. Carefully remove transfer tape if applicable. If decal moves reposition, squeegee again and leave a few hours or overnight and remove transfer tape – Please note .. some large layered decals have no transfer tape. In any case leave overnight and it will be stuck firmly…
